Character Creation Rules
Concept
Vivid concepts (attitude, mannerisms, motivations, values, style, etc.) are important. Remember a Garou, even a homid Garou, is a werewolf, and has the instincts and nature her Beast regardless of origin stories.
Archetypes (Nature and Demeanor) are optional. Choose them if they help you flesh out your character, or ignore they don't.
Banned Tribes
Players may not be Black Spiral Dancers or Glass Walkers, as they are fallen Tribes., or Stargazers, as they have left the Garou Nation.
Attributes
Prioritize Physical, Social and Mental, assigning each category 7, 5 or 3 points.
Attributes at 4+ gain a Specialty.
Abilities
Prioritize Talents, Skills and Knowledges assigning each 13, 9 or 5 points. Abilities may not begin above 3 without freebie points.
Abilities at 4+ gain a Specialty.
Backgrounds
Spend 5 points on Backgrounds. Tribe restrictions apply.
Gifts
Choose one 1st rank Gift for Breed, Auspice and Tribe.
Rage
Starting Rage is by Auspice. You may take more with freebies.
Ahroun: 5
Galliard: 4
Philodox: 3
Theurge: 2
Ragabash: 1
Gnosis
Starting Gnosis depends on Breed. You may take more with freebies.
Homid: 1
Metis: 3
Lupus: 5
Willpower
Starting Willpower is by Tribe. Most werewolves start at 3.
Bone Gnawers, Children of Gaia, and Wendigo start at 4.
Additional Willpower can be taken with freebies.

Werewolves start with 15 freebie points.
