These are the final days-
The signs are clear:
Even our pups know
That this is the age of the Apocalypse

The humans have Corrupted the Earth
Destroyed the Trees
Slaughtered the Beasts
Choked the Air
Poisoned the Soil
Clogged the Waters
Unleashed the Eternal Fire

Now, the Wyrm rises
To eclipse the Moon,
Devouring all within its grasp,
Hunting the hunters.

There is no garden to which we can flee.
There is nowhere to hide.
The end is upon us.
When will you rage?

The year is 2014.

It has been ten years since the Prophecy of the Phoenix nearly came to pass. Ten years since the Garou dragged the world from the brink of annihilation. And still, the werewolves' war against the Wyrm rages on.

New York is the same nest of corruption it always was. Banes whisper corruption and atrocity into the all-too-obliging hearts of the human herd. Fomori breed amidst the squalor and decay, while their cousins, the leeches who call themselves Kindred, work their wiles. The megacorporation Pentex conspires to profit from the spiral of destruction that their agents bring about.

And still, the Garou fight, tooth and claw against all odds.

A new generation of Garou have risen to take up the fight against the Wyrm. Mother Larissa still heads the Sept of the Green, but her time has waned, and the fate of the Caern will soon fall to the young werewolves who are just now making their names.




[Everything in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse, up to the Apocalypse arc, is canon in this Chronicle. The Stargazers are gone, Ravnos is obliterated, mages can't cross into the Umbra without risking their lives, etc.
The world is not in immediate danger of ending, however.]
