Re: Edge of the Bawn
"Then we run," Black-Fur declares, starting in an odd three-limbed lope to the edge of the park, where he smoothly changes mid-stride into his magnificent birth form, as black as the night he runs into.

"Holy crap I can't believe this scab sometimes, it's like nobody even realizes..."
Kekoa stops as he enters the scene surveying the blood, and hears the drama.
"There's going to be a hell of a payback for this, but first. Spotlight! I'm going to go follow their trail in and see if anybody followed."

"Hey, hey, new guy! Hold on!" comes a voice behind Dark Waters. A man - no, a Garou, though he doesn't look it - stands behind him. He has a peculiar jagged haircut, wears a black jacket and jeans, and carries a heavy-duty, rectangular bag over one shoulder.
"Look, man, blood and fury's good and all, but if there's some kind of vampire shit going down, you don't want to go alone. I'll watch your back, what do you say?"

Re: Edge of the Bawn
Dark Water stiffens and focuses at the man.
His voice a rough growl, "Yeah, you can watch my back but, it's Dark Waters not new guy."

"Morris," he says, extended his hand for a shake, "Well, Tangled Wire, but no one calls me that, seriously. I got a motorcycle. You want to ride along, or you want to run?"
Re: Edge of the Bawn
Kekoa gives a dangerous smile, "Morris, I'll ride along if it's fast."

Tangled Wire grins widely - and unlike most Garou, gives no impression of baring teeth as he does so. "Fast? Hell yeah, it's fast," he boasts, "Tough, too."
He jogs over to the edge of the Bawn, where a sleek, black Suzuki motorbike is parked. He climbs on and gestures for you to do the same...

The Umbra of the Sept's territory is cleaner, less choked by the stagnant webs and mostly clean of the decay and rot that plagues the Scab. It may not be as beautiful or welcoming as the deep-wilderness Caerns, but for the Garou of the Sept of the Green, it is home.
Black-Fur-Rises and Snatches-Food-Under-Nose, returning from a bloody fight in Brooklyn, arrive unscathed.

Snatches-Food looks around inquisitively, wondering where Black-Fur wanted to go next.

Dan disembarks from a bright yellow cab and casually returns to the Park grounds, themselves, hailing Snatches and Black-Fur as he approaches.
"Okay. I've started one ave us of investigation into the bad guys." He says, as smoothly as he can manage.
"Anybody see if our friend the wounded Talon is doing well?"

Snatches will clear her throat, shifting it to a Homid one.
"Not yet, we just got back. Did you see that other Ahroun that came on the bike by any chance? He had my change of clothes. Also, is there any way you can find out where phone calls came from? I was wondering about that."

"Ha! I thought this was evidence I was supposed to burn!"
Kekoa tosses the tight bundle of clothes at Snatches head.
"You're lucky Tangled Wire drives to fast for me to dump this in a homeless dude's fire can."

Re: Edge of the Bawn
Snatches-Food instinctively catches the bundle in her mouth, then tastes the stain and hurriedly drops it.
"Well, speak of the devil! Thanks, I thought for a bit I would have to go scrounging through the bushes and hope to find some negligent teens or something. More importantly, it's got at least one wallet and phone in that bundle from the late Lawrence. As good a place as any to start looking for Morris, eh? With you here, things are looking better by the minute!"

"Unless you have a better way, Morris is being found right now. I have a, let's say... fire-and-forget method of tracking people down. New York's Finest are, occasionally, quite useful."
Dan replied easily, as if it were the most natural thing in the world to be friends with a police Captain.
"Not that this means we should stop digging, though, it's just that my own programming experience is limited to getting around the block on library rigs, I'm not going to be much good in tracing a number, and something tells me that you two,"
Dan gestures to Snatches-Food and Black-Fur "Aren't much good behind a screen either, which leave me and Mahalo over here, and, well..."
He turns to Kekoa expectantly, hoping the latecomer would tell him he was wrong and he's actually a professional hacker.

"Well, I think you just might be wrong about that. I don't mean to brag, but I think I know my way around a computer pretty well."
Snatches-Food holds her head high with pride, and at least sounds like she believes it.
Snatches-Food had seen one of her 'friends' use bring along what he'd called a laptop, and he'd even let her use the keys a bit. It was easy, you just made a bunch of letters appear on the screen and moved the pointy thing around! Clearly the doubts Walks had about using one was due to not being a supremely talented natural programminger like her.

Re: Edge of the Bawn
Black-Fur returns from making sure the Talons got back to their wounded pack-mate safely, having acquired a shirt somewhere on the way back (it's not a particularly clean shirt, but it is long enough). In Homid form, he's not quite as hairy as he was in Glabro, though he doesn't particularly seem any more social. He crouches down in a stance much like a sitting lupine near what is apparently now his pack, saying nothing.

After going in to the bushes to change to Homid with her new clothes, Snatches-Food will take a full account of her newly acquired possessions, including contact information on phones and, more importantly, shiny money.

[[Just looked at Snatches' stats. This is going to be hilarious]]
Well, okay, then. A pleasant surprise was a pleasant surprise.
Dan reached into his pocket and pulled out his newly -acquired vampire phone.
"Okay, in that case, I need you to dive through the call logs, internet history and GPS logs. See if you can't triangulate hunting grounds and other members of the leech's coven. We can take 'im after sunrise. They're probably going to ground, so if we find out where that is, we can salt that Earth."

Re: Edge of the Bawn
[Overconfident is a flaw for a reason ]
Still rifling through her pockets with one hand, Snatches-Food graciously accepts the new phone. She was pretty sure she knew what he meant by all those things, and even if she didn't (although she totally did), she could probably just figure it out as she went along.
"I can totally do that!" she says with a reassuring grin. "Now, unless you need me for anything else, I'd better get on with chopping up those call logs."
