South Bronx Streets

The sixth-closest grocery store is a long walk in Homid form, longer in the daytime where crowds and city traffic can slow a werewolf down.
On her way in the Bronx streets, Snatches-Food-Under-Nose passes through a street lined with tired-looking two-storey brick buildings, storefronts with grime-streaked windows, many steel gates and bars, and all marked with local gangs' graffiti (and the odd Get of Fenris rune scratched in the brick). The Ragabash, her Rage quieter than most Garou's and bereft of the Curse's protection, finds herself stalked (though it's shoddy stalking, but werewolf standards) by a pair of twenty-something male humans in loose clothing, each trading glances with each other and smirking. One has his hands in his front hoodie pockets, apparently concealing something.

Well, this should be fun. Snatches-Food will activate her Monkey Puzzle and shift to Crinos under cover of the Talisman. She will then make for the nearest alley, looking fairly nervous about the prospect of going into a dark, spooky alley and seemingly completely oblivious to her pair of followers.

"Is she fucking serious?" one thug says aloud, his voice kept low but easily heard with wolf ears. He seems incredulous that Snatches-Food would get spooked and actually walk into a dark alley, but doesn't sense the deception.
"Yeah, for real," the other chuckles obliviously, pulling a switchblade from his front pocket, "Stupid bitch. Nice ass, though."
They both saunter up to the alley, cocky swagger and leering grins, the Fetish's spirit preventing them from seeing the werewolf for what she truly is.

Snatches-Food continues into the alley until the exits are equidistant, pretend to notice the pair of thugs for the first time, and gasps in a manner an acute ear might find overly theatrical.
"Oh, no! Please, sirs. I don't have any money!"
Snatches-Food prepares to cold-clock the first one that gets close, doing a very good job at not laughing.

The second thug laughs harder than before. "That's no problem, babe," he croons in a mockery of a soothing tone, "We'll just have to work out another payment."
"Case you didn't get that, it means strip and spread, 'ho," the first sneers, advancing. He seems to be in charge as far as the pair is concerned... and first the get smashed in the face.

Snatches-Food introduces the first to her fist. They seem to get along.
"There aren't even any farms around here! You 're just as dumb as you look!"
Not very eloquent, she knew, but it was clear she would have to wean them on to words with more than two syllables.

The man staggers back as the Crinos-sized paw smacks into the side of his face, but appears unharmed. He seems more surprised than anything.
"The fuck was that?" he shouts, his face now red. The other thug flicks open his switchblade and advances, but the first guy waves him back. "No way. She's mine... the little bitch..."
He lunges at Snatches-Food and aims an uppercutat her - though thanks to the Monkey Puzzle it ends up closer to her chest than her snout. It doesn't do much but ruffle her fur.
[I assume it'll be soaked. I mean, it's one freaking damage!]

Seeing that he's being a sport about it, Snatches-Food will merely show off her flexibility by kicking him in the chin. It's a fairly heavy blow.

Snatches-Food's hindpaw connects with the man's chin. She can feel his jawbone shatter. He falls sideways and slams into the ground, head bouncing off the concrete. His companion stares wide-eyed, bravado and colour draining from his face. WIth a half-mumbled "The fuck?", he takes off in a hurry.
The Ragabash is left alone with the man, whose ears are oozing blood onto the concrete. Above her, a window slams shut. Traffic roars on.

Spurred by the werewolf's taunt, some choice narcotics, and his general obliviousness, the second thug rallies his courage and turns around in the middle of the street.
"You got lucky," he says to Snatches-Food, though it seems like he's trying to convince himself more than her, "Just luck. Ain't gonna do you no good now."
He lunges with the switchblades in hand, slashing wildly and catching nothing but a few stray strands of fur. [1 success to hit, no damage]

Breathing hard, the still-wobbly thug determinedly throws himself back into the fight and drives his knife at Snatches-Food's leg, this time getting some power behind his thrust.
Though not a lot.

He takes some of the impact on his shoulder, but still staggers back as the werewolf's paw rams into him. Frustrated, and enraged by the Ragabash's gleeful taunts, he throws the knife as a distraction and decides to use his larger size to his advantage with a straight punch.
The knife hits the alley wall and bounces, striking his arm and drawing blood, but not slowing him down as he draws his fist back and throws his weight into his punch, grazing her (at best).

With a crack of breaking ribs, Snatches-Food's knee smashes into the thug's chest with Crinos strength and slams the breath from his lungs. He crumples to the trash-strewn ground with a low groan, next to his companion, still lying and bleeding.
The street is quiet. The few people who can see from their windows quickly lose interest and close their blinds.
It's just a short walk to the grocery store from here.

Well, that was fun. Snatches-Food will enact karma by robbing them of everything they own, including the clothes on their backs. Although normally she would spend longer teaching these upstarts a thorough lesson in who was the top bitch on these streets, she had a very important errand to run.

Between the two of them, they have forty dollars and some change, some worn and baggy clothes, and a switchblade. But more importantly, they'll be confused and embarrassed when... and if... they regain consciousness.
The nearby supermarket is a chain store, a bit small and cramped, but fully stocked with the food and other items Snatches-Food wanted.

Excellent. Snatches-Food will turn back to Homid, quietly thanking the talisman for it's service. Barring further fun interruptions, she'll make her purchases and head back to the safehouse.
