While the rest of the pack are occupied with whatever they so choose/being lazy, Snatches-Food will be busy making preparations. She will be fairly stealthy, sneaking about the house on her dark errand.
The first tray of trout and ice is taped to the underside of the living room table, allowed to hang slightly so the fish does not stain the wood.
The second tray of trout and ice will be put under a floorboard in the largest bedroom (not the already loose one, she didn't find that).
The first tray of salmon will be nailed with the ice bag upside-down to the ceiling above the bathroom sink to catch the inevitable drips.
The first tray of cod and ice will be taped underneath the smaller bed in a manner similar to the table.
The second tray of cod and ice will be put in the chain-store bag to prevent leakage and put inside the small bedroom mattress (opened carefully along the seam and closed as much from the inside as possible with duct tape).
Finally, the second tray of salmon and ice will be left by the door. Being careful not to be overheard by the other Garou, snatches-Food will whisper "The rest are hidden around the house. They are yours if you can find them and don't feel like leaving them for when they start to smell."
Snatches-Food will then shift to Lupus and find a Wyld spot as far away from Black-Fur as possible, trying to catch a few hours of sleep before the night.

Night falls in the Scab, Aunt Luna's silvery form barely visible through the thick smog and glare of city lights that blot out the stars. The roar of traffic continues even as the sun fades from the sky.
Loud rap music blares from a neighbor's boom box. In the distance, emergency sirens wail - and concealed beneath the notes of that mechanical howl comes the battle-song of a Get of Fenris pack, somewhere far away.
Elsewhere, gunshots ring out, followed by a scream. Just another night in New York City.
Black-Fur-Rises and Snatches-Food-Under-Nose sought Wyld-places to shelter in. They have found a place in the house's backyard, sheltered by the low boughs of a gnarled tree and the long grass, and the guest bedroom, where the roof is damaged and Luna's light shines in.
Mist-Walker is gone by nightfall. A closet door lies open, revealing a dusty old-fashioned dressing mirror.
Walks-Forbidden-Trails' and Dark Waters' mobile phones both have waiting voicemail messages. Walks' phone bears a familiar number - that of his contact in the NYPD. Dark Waters' message is from a blocked number.

Of the Sept's well-known Theurges, Dark Waters recalls a few: The most obvious would be Mother Larissa herself, Theurge of the Bone Ganwers, Sept Leader and Elder, known for being wise and crafty.
A Theurge of the Get of Fenris named Brings-The-Storm also prowls the streets of New York City. She is a Fostern - a moderately experienced werewolf who has proven herself to the Sept.
He also knows the visiting Red Talon Theurge, Song-Of-Rain, who has tended to his wounded packmate. He is young, but his has walked the wilderness and knows Gaia's ways better than urrah twice his age.

Snatches-Food will gradually stir herself to consciousness from the pleasant dream, wondering if that ringing was actually a phone or an artifact from the aforementioned dream.

The fish that Snatches-Food left as chiminage - presumably for the raccoon watching the safehouse's doors - has been reduced to a few wisps, its essence happily devoured by the spirit. Though the raccoon is not manifest and can't be seen this side of the Gauntlet, the mood of the place is brightened somewhat.

Happy to see that the spirit appreciated the offering, Snatches-Food decides to celebrate with a night on the town (crime). With this in mind, she shall pad off towards a fancy clothing and/or jewelry store, whichever is second closest. She initially found it odd that humans would be so preoccupied with things that would only fly off later in the festivities, but she had eventually learned that it was like bird plumage, so the confusion only added to the bedazzlement of the lady bird. Or something like that.
